Ylang ylang is steam-distilled from the yellow flowers of the Cananga odorata tree from the Comoros. Distillation takes place in several fractions; the grade “I” denotes the first fraction after the extra – rich, floral and long-lasting.
In a diffuser it is a luxurious evening scent; in blends it is the floral heart, beautifully framed by bergamot and patchouli. The oil is powerful: two drops are enough for the whole room.

How to use
- Ultrasonic diffuser: 3–5 drops per 100 ml of water (roughly 10–15 drops for a 300–400 ml tank).
- Waterless nebuliser: pour the oil into the device’s 10 ml bottle and screw it on.
- Scent stones, wooden beads or ceramics: 2–3 drops, repeat as needed.
- Do not apply the oil to the skin and do not swallow it. Air the room from time to time during use. Keep tightly closed in a cool, dark place, out of reach of children and pets.

Is ylang ylang I really a 100% natural essential oil?
Yes. The bottle contains only essential oil obtained from Cananga odorata (flowers, steam distillation), in line with the definition of an essential oil in ISO 9235. We add no carrier oils, alcohol, solvents or synthetic fragrances. Purity is confirmed by the supplier’s safety data sheet, certificate of analysis and IFRA certificate.
How many drops do I put in the diffuser?
For an ultrasonic diffuser, 3–5 drops per 100 ml of water is enough. Start with fewer and increase the dose as needed – essential oils are intense.
Can I apply the oil directly to my skin?
No. Essential oils are highly concentrated and can irritate the skin or trigger an allergic reaction. This product is intended for scenting rooms and is not a cosmetic product.
What does the grade I mean?
The flowers are distilled in several stages. The first fraction after the extra (I) is the most floral and prized in perfumery; lower fractions (II, III) are woodier and cheaper.
Which oils does ylang ylang I blend well with?
Ylang ylang pairs well with bergamot, patchouli, sweet orange, geranium and frankincense. For a floral evening try 1 drop of ylang ylang and 3 drops of bergamot.
Is it suitable for a room with children and pets?
Keep the bottle out of reach of children and animals. Do not run a diffuser in a room where a baby is sleeping, and always give pets the option to move to a scent-free room. Cats are especially sensitive to essential oils.
