Chocolat Absolu is direct and unapologetic: cocoa, vanilla and tonka, with just enough citrus and coffee to keep the composition from turning to syrup. The opening is short and lively – bitter orange brings a citrus edge, dried fruit a darker, almost raisin-like sweetness.

The heart is the reason people buy this fragrance: cocoa appears full and powdery, closer to cocoa powder than melted chocolate, while praline adds a nutty creaminess. The texture is dense and warm without turning sticky.

The base of bourbon vanilla, tonka bean and coffee ties it all together. Vanilla lends the cocoa softness, coffee a roasted depth that keeps the scent from reading as a sweet. How many sprays should I use?

Two are enough. This is one of the strongest fragrances in our range and quickly becomes assertive on warm skin – indoors, we recommend a single spray per garment.

Is Chocolat Absolu for women or for men?

Entirely unisex. Cocoa and vanilla work equally well on both, while coffee and tonka add enough dryness to keep it from reading as distinctly feminine.

Which size should I choose?
