Frequently asked questions

How does white salt differ from pink?

White Himalayan salt is rarer and almost free of the iron traces that give salt its pink colour. When lit it gives a brighter, more white-yellow light.

    How do you deliver it?

The lamp weighs around 25 kg, so it ships as a heavy parcel with an adjusted delivery cost, or you can collect it in person in Frankolovo.

    Is the bulb included?

Yes, the lamp comes with a cable, in-line switch, EU plug and bulb.

Will my lamp look the same as in the picture?

Not exactly – it is a naturally carved, one-of-a-kind piece, so shape and shade vary. The weight is 24–25 kg.

    Why does the lamp sweat?

Salt absorbs moisture from the air. A lit lamp dries itself; when off, place it on a tray and wipe it from time to time.

    Safety instructions

The lamp is intended for use in dry indoor spaces. Unplug it from the mains before changing the bulb or cleaning. Do not cover it and do not place it on flammable surfaces. Salt lamps are hygroscopic – in a humid room place the lamp on a stand or a plate and switch it on regularly. Keep out of reach of children. Take the worn-out lamp to a collection point for waste electrical and electronic equipment.
