Frankincense essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the resin of the Boswellia carterii tree. As pure frankincense oil is very precious, we offer it as a 5% solution in grapeseed oil \u2013 which makes the scent softer, balsamic and unobtrusive.<\/p>\n

It suits a yoga or meditation corner, quiet evenings at home and adds a warm note to blends with citrus oils.<\/p>\n

    Is the frankincense a pure, 100% essential oil?<\/p>\n

    No. It is a 5% solution of natural frankincense essential oil in grapeseed oil. This makes the scent softer and the price more affordable than for pure frankincense oil.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Can I use frankincense in a diffuser?<\/p>\n

    No. The blend contains 95% grapeseed oil, which leaves an oily film in ultrasonic diffusers and nebulisers and may clog or damage the device. Apply 3\u20134 drops to a scented stone, wooden beads or ceramics and repeat as needed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Can I apply the oil directly to my skin?<\/p>\n
